The Community Against Domestic Violence (CADV)

program provides direct services including legal representation and case management to immigrant victims of domestic violence. The CADV team also conducts outreach and education to the community and local service providers.

Goals:

• Ensure that all clients receive linguistically- and culturally-appropriate services.
• Increase awareness within the Vietnamese community regarding domestic violence.
• Increase cultural competency of service providers regarding the Vietnamese community.

Vision:

• Survivors will access needed benefits and services without re-traumatization.
• Survivors will be treated with respect by all service providers.
• Survivors will be re-united with family members.
• Survivors will achieve self-sufficiency and eventually assist others.
