News for Domestic Violence Program - CADVBPSOS-Hampton Receives $5,000 Grant for Domestic Violence
Hampton, VA -- February 10, 2005 -- The Commonwealth of Virginia Family and Children's Trust Fund (FACT) has awarded BPSOS-Hampton $5,000 to determine the needs of the Vietnamese community and build a domestic violence program accordingly.

On November 18, 2004 Kim Loan Thi Nguyen was brutally murdered by her ex-husband in broad daylight outside a coffeehouse at Eden Center in Falls Church, Virginia.

200 Anticipated For Multicultural Family Violence Training
FALLS CHURCH, VA – Boat People SOS, in collaboration with the Fairfax County Human Services Multicultural Domestic Violence Project, will host a workshop on addressing perspectives on domestic violence in the Latino/a, Korean, Muslim, and Vietnamese communities.
